Today I decided to give the panorma version of "All gone" a last try, and I think it turned out pretty damn good:D More info about the place and the shot can be found in the first version of "All gone" ([link])

In this version I first merged and tonemapped 18 pictures into 6 HDR images in Photomatix and then made into a panorma og finetuned i PS CS3 Extended. Write a comment if you would like to know how i colourgraded it;)

Comments and favs is allways apreciated:)

It seems you use high end gear, but I've not the financial resources right now to do what you do. I don't have the experience, either. My friend what software would you recommend for creating low budget panoramas? Free would be best actually.

I did this in Photoshop, mostly because I do most of my photoediting using that software. I dont know of any free "photomerger", but I'm sure a quick google search will give you that answear;) When it comes to high end gear: the tripod I used was something my grandfather used when he was younger:P
Your ancient hear is far more high end than my broom stick that I mounted my camera to. :P
I do my editing in Paint Shop Pro 7. Today I made a huge forest panorama but I cant seem to get rid of distortion...how tree limbs don't line up in the row of images. I feel there is absolutely nothing I can do.

As for panorama software, I found an amazing piece of software that can generate both JPG panoramas and also interactive QuickTimeVR .Mov panoramas. I'm having a lot of fun with that. The software is called "PTGui" and the demo can be downloaded here:
[link] (click the gallery button for some really cool panoramas in different formats).

Let me know if you try and like the software, because I need someone to mooch tips from. :P

it's a really nice look mate, how did you get the colors? ;)
Channel mixer n adjusmentlayer;) I'll write a tutorial or something later.
First you make a Channelmixer adjusmentlayer with the settings: R = 0, G = 0, B = 100. Check the monocrome box and click OK. The duplicate the adjusmentlayer and change the blendingmode on the lovermost layer to "screen" and the other one to "multiply". Use a normal brush with lov hardness and paint away the darkest places on the the multiply layer and the lightest places on the screen layer. Adjust the opacity if needed.
cool look nice ideaand grat job
Thank you for the commnent and the fav!
